One Stop Crisis Center(OSCC)

OSCC or One Stop Crisis Center is the center where violence cases like domestic violence, rape, sodomy and child abuse are reported. My Viss system was developed to provide a systematic way on recording these type of cases. It contains 2 main modules, Registration and OSCC modules. Registration module captures all demographic information of patients while OSCC module consists of 2 types of modules which are domestic violence and sexual assault. Each type of violence cases will have information on history, assailant information, clinical examinations and care plans.

To save the data integrity, each user has been assigned with a unique key and each key assigned to user has it's own master copy. User may be forgotten their password and cannot open the patient's data which binded with their key. With this master key, administrator will be able to recover the data without losing it.

One of the features in this system is to auto-saved the data while doing the data entry. User can set the interval time for auto-saved for example for every 15 seconds. This will be an advantage features to provide recovery if power failure occurs and the data is not yet saved. User can also set the idling times so that the system will quit automatically when reached the idling times.

Some data are confidential and only certain doctors have rights to view and modify the case information. As the data entry job is done by the MA, doctors can assigned which module can be assigned to them. Change Log features allow users to keep track of all the changes done to the patient's case information. Every time the user hit on the save button, there will be a window for user to add comments, date and time and the reason for changes. All of this information will be logged for reference. If 1 case has been updated 10 times, there will be 10 copies of these case information. User who did the change will be logged automatically by their user name.
